Sophie Lane is a producer, songwriter, and vocalist whose music lives between deep house, nu-disco, and late-night pop. Built around warm basslines, crisp four-on-the-floor drums, Rhodes chords, analog synth stabs, and a restrained vocal style, her records favor atmosphere and tension over obvious excess. Based in Berlin, she first developed her approach through small club nights, after-hours sessions, and long stretches of writing alone with a Juno-106, a Moog Sub 37, and an old cassette deck she still uses to roughen up finished parts.
