Ra Rauw 42

Ra Rauw 42 is a Berlin-based hip hop trio redefining what underground sound means in the heart of Europe. Formed in 2022, the group brings together three contrasting forces: Jonas “JZ” Klinke, a battle-scarred lyricist raised on Neukölln’s street corners; Felix “Nebula” Brandt, an analog synth hoarder with a soft spot for East German radio textures; and Lina “Vel” Morgenstern, a conservatory dropout whose icy vocals and haunting hooks give the group its signature edge. Their paths crossed at a chaotic warehouse rave in Friedrichshain. JZ was freestyling through the fog machine, Nebula hijacked the aux cable to drop a grime bootleg, and Vel—originally just photographing the night—ended up singing the hook that silenced the crowd. That spontaneous moment led to their first studio session, where “Catastrofe” was born. “Catastrofe”, their explosive debut single, dropped exclusively on Filodyo, bypassing traditional platforms in a deliberate move to keep their sound raw and uncensored. It’s not just a song—it’s a signal. Ra Rauw 42 isn’t asking for attention. They’re taking it.
