Expired Youth Club

Expired Youth Club are a fictional female-fronted alternative-pop trio exploring what happens when emotion refuses to stay contained. Vocalist Lena Voss formed the project with bassist Rae Kim and drummer Simone Vale after the three bonded over unfinished demos and a shared appetite for songs that could sound vulnerable and explosive at once. Their song “Too Much” turns emotional intensity into a physical current. The lyrics move between attraction, anxiety and self-awareness, while a rising rhythm mirrors the feeling of trying—and failing—to keep every reaction under control. Lena’s vocal shifts from close confession to a charged chorus without apologizing for its volume. Expired Youth Club pair indie textures with pop instincts and a slightly restless edge.
